Easter Diary Contest 2023!

Hello Dolls!

Easter is here!

People around the world celebrate Easter in different ways

In the United States,  people celebrate Easter by eating ham and deviled eggs! Deviled eggs is a popular choice because of the way eggs are used as a symbol of rebirth, throughout the holiday.

But in Greece, the eggs are dyed red by those who celebrate Easter through the Orthodox church. The crimson hued eggs are a rebirth symbol with the color red representing Jesus’ blood, marking the return of the son of God.

Meanwhile, in Ethiopia, people practice a period of fasting, similar to Lent in the Western church. The name of the celebration is “Fasika” an Amharic word for Easter. The special feature is that all meat and animal products are off menu, making the followers of the tradition completely vegan, for the time being.
